Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) was founded by Sri R Dayananda Sagar in the year 1979, with an overview of better education system in the country and currently it s run by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeta Trust. College is spread over 28 acres (110,000 m2) of land on a hillock in Kumaraswamy Layout, South. Many Research programmes are sponsored and undertaken by WiFi connections in the country. This is an autonomous institute under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.



In the year 2011 other divisions of the college has been set up named as located in Kanakapura road, Bangalore.



REACHABILITY:

The travelling time from Bangalore International Airport is 52 minutes and 30 minutes from City Railway Station.



ACCOMODATION:

The college has 2 separate hostels for male and female for Indian and NRI students. Indian students hostel provides the option of 4 sharing whereas NRI students hostel provides the option of 2 sharing. The fee structure for NRI students and Indian students are 70,000 and 45,000 respectively including the mess charges.

The college has its own 200 seater multicuisine restaurant in the residence of the college named LOTUS, with a neat and hygenic ambience.

Including this the college has its own GYM and Squash Court with modern features.

ELIGIBILITY:
The CE and COMEDK students who has passed PUC,CBSE,ISCE/10+2 or any other equivalent courses having PHYSICS and Mathematics as Core Subjects with a minimum of 45% overall aggregate and one of the subjects among COURSES:- Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Electronics and English as a compulsory subject.
