Free Wi-Fi facility in Taj Mahal

One of tourist attractions place of UP is Agra. The IT Minister Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad launched Wi-Fi facilities at Taj Mahal. The facility has been set up by state-run operator BSNL with the optical fibre backbone which can provide internet speed of up to 100 Mbps. And the government is working towards enabling all cities with a population of over one million and tourist centres with wi-fi hotspots. Government also said that Wi-Fi facility was launched by BSNL at Dashashwamedh Ghat and Shitala Ghats of Varanasi. And it also plans to provide Wi-Fi facilities at Fatehpur Sikri, Khajuraho and Jagannath Puri and others tourist places in March 2016.
