Eligibility
Candicates for admission to the first year BDS degree course should have passed the Higher Secondary (academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary

Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks(40% marks for SC/OBC/MBC) in the following subjects: Biology

(Botany&Zoology), Physics and Chemistry and English is essential as a subject.

Age limit
The candidate should be 17 years of age as on 31st December of the preceding year of admission. However, no upper age limit has been prescribed.
