Prasanna College of Ayurveda & Hospital has a presence since January 2013. The Prasanna Education Trust (PET) is the PCAH s sponsoring body. The PET is traceable to Laila in Belthangady in India s Karnataka state. The College has affiliation with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Moreover, the Center has the approval of the Central Council of Indian Medicines.
The College commenced operations during the year 2016. Presently, the College s 3rd academic year is underway, having 100 pupils per batch.
Since inception, the College has grown to become one of India s best private Ayurvedic colleges. The Center offers value-added Ayurveda care to the pupils.

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery [BAMS]

About: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
As part of the College s BAMS course, the students learn the fundamentals of the integrated practices of both conventional Ayurveda and modern medicine. They study about Ayurveda s varied subjects. Additionally, they receive practical training, for a better grasp of the various subject concepts.
The course is a full-time and an undergraduate degree course, having duration of 5.5 years. Also, the BAMS program is referred to as Ayurvedacharya course. The main course has 3 professionals programs that are for 3 years each. The final course is for 1.5 years. Further, the course entails a 1-year internship program.
The job options that the course graduates can avail include Ayurvedic physician, researcher, teacher and surgeon.
For getting admission in Prasanna BAMS College, the applicants have to clear the Senior Higher Secondary examination in the Science stream from recognized Educational Boards. Their subjects must include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, along with English.

Prasanna College of Ayurveda College Eligibility

Candidate must have secured above mentioned aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-tech. & must have passed Phy., Chem., Biology/Bio-tech. & English individually. Candidates who have passed 10+2 level with Biology as an additional subject will also be eligible.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 from Open School or as private candidates are not eligible. Furthermore, study of Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject at 10+2 level shall not be permissible.
Candidate passed B.Sc. from Indian Uni. with not less than 2 of the subjects Phy., Chem., Bio. (Botany, Zoology)/Biotech. & further passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English can also apply.
Result awaited candidates can also apply on provisional basis.
The lower age limit is 17 years on or before 31st Dec.
The upper age limit is 25 years (30 yrs for SC/ST/OBC category).
Candidate must have secured 50th (40th for SC, ST & OBC candidates) percentile in NEET.

Selection Criteria for all Courses are as follows:
For admission in Under Graduate Course (BAMS), candidates are expected to attempt NEET-UG after which their marks are the primary criteria in getting admission into the college.
For admissions in Post Graduate (MD, MS), Candidates are expected to attempt AIAPGET after which their results are the primary basis of selection into the college.
Note: Candidate must be at least 17 Years or above.
