Kukke Bandi Utsava:

Kukke Bandi Utsava Timings, Ticket cost, Online booking

Timings: 6:00 pm 9:00 pm. This Utsava will be performed daily.

Bandi Utsava will be performed daily from Deepavali to 30th May

Ticket cost: Rs.3000.

Ticket can be purchased at Seva counter for the same day Utsava. Online booking is not available for this special Seva.

The devotees participate in the Bandi Utsava when their wish is fulfilled. Devotees will be pulling the chariot in the
streets of Kukke. Lord Subramanya will be taken out in a procession. This Utsava runs for 3 hours at the end,
devotees are allowed to have darshan.

Kukke Temple Darshan Procedure:

One should visit Aadi Subrahmanya Temple before Kukke Subrahmanya Darshan
Aadi Subrahmany Darshan Timings: 6:00 am 7:00 pm
Aadi Subrahmanya Abhisheka Timings can be performed anytime between 7:45 pm 11:45 am.
No need to remove Shirt or Banian at Aadi Subrahmanya Temple.
At Kukke Subrahmanya, Male devotees not supposed to wear Shirt or Banian while entering Darshan Line.
Any decent outfit will be allowed. No restriction for Female devotees.
Jean pant is allowed while going for the Darshan.
Male devotees can only wear the shirt on exit from the Darshan line.
Devotees can deposit their footwear at the Chappal Stand. Rs.1 per person will be charged. Chappal Stand is at a walkable
from the temple entrance, which is on the left side.
Luggage depositing counter is also available and is located right next to Seva counter.
Special Darshan tickets are not available. One can perform Seva for which ticket to be purchased at the Seva counter only.
The crowd will be minimal during the weekday which hardly takes 15 mins for Darshan.
It is free Darshan at Aadi Subrahmanya Temple and Kukke Subrahmanya Temple.

By Train

The nearest railway station is at Subrahmanya Road which is 12.4 km from Kukke Temple. Temple is easily reachable from this place.
Daily Trains are available from Bengaluru and Mysore to Subrahmanya Road (SBHR)
Next nearest station is at Sakleshpur which is 48 km from Kukke Temple.
The direct bus to Kukke is available from Sakleshpur Bus station with good frequency.
Devotees can reach this place from Bengaluru, Mysore and Mangalore stations. The direct trains are available from these points.
It takes 8 hours 50 mins 9 hours 20 mins by Train from Bengaluru station.
It is 5 hours 15 mins from Mysore Junction (MYS).
2 hours to 3 hours 10 mins from Mangaluru station.

By Bus

KSRTC operates direct buses from Bengaluru, Mysore and Mangalore to Kukke Temple
It takes 7 hours 30 mins by Bus to reach this Place.
Ac Semi-Sleeper, Non-Ac Semi Sleeper, Karnataka Sarige, Rajahamsa buses operate to Kukke Temple with high frequency.
It is advisable to reach Temple by Government operated buses rather than private travels.
Private travels do operate from Bengaluru, Mysore and Mangalore but facilities, hospitality and services are not good.
KSRTC Bus Fare varies from Rs.292 Rs.701.

By Air

The nearest international airport is at Mangalore which is 113 km away.
Next nearest airport is at Bengaluru which is 302 km from the temple.


Please note that devotees are not supposed to visit any temples or places after performing any Pooja at Kukke Temple. One has to return home
directly after performing Pooja. Not advisable to take Non-Veg food till they reach home.
