Majority of Websites are built with PHP

This goes to show that the demand for PHP professionals is only going to rise. PHP: Hypertext Pre-processor (earlier called, Personal Home Page) is an HTML-embedded, server-side scripting language designed for web development. PHP is also used in web-based applications, custom application, Content Management Solutions (CMS), chat software, and developing dynamic tools. PHP gained popularity after Mark Zuckerberg used it to build Facebook; the world has seen an upward trajectory in PHPs usage since this event. As per a latest survey, PHP is used in around 84% of web-based projects.
