In order to meet the growing demand for management education the “Oakbrook business school” is established to promote quality education among students and working professional. Oakbrook Business School is launching its 2 year full time MBA Degree with majors available in Finance, Marketing, HR, and Entrepreneurship. We believe management education is the need of today’s era, management education that builds employability skills by giving extensive industry exposure. The business schools have to cope with the dynamic industry environment by understanding the skills required to be employable. There is a huge gap between the fresh MBA graduate skills and the skills demanded by corporate; OBS is taking its first step towards bridging this “Skill GAP”.

Pedagogy
OBS uses a combination of various teaching methods such as cases, projects, event handling, independent studies, computer-aided instructions, group discussions, guest lectures, seminars, workshops, presentations by students and interactions with eminent personalities of the industry as well as Government. The case method is generally seen as the most effective tool, and it is incorporated as a part of the curriculum design. Industry projects are also seen as an effective method for building work skills, student get hand on experience of job market. The entire focus and efforts are on making Industry Ready personal.

Faculties would research, Industry fresher skill requirement, and would create position specific skill index. This skill index would further get mapped with student’s skills index.

We believe every individual is gifted with skills and @ OBS those skills are developed. The Skill Mapping design system would make the journey of the student to professional effortless.
