Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary The Land of OneHorned Rhinos

Located just 50 km from Guwahati, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for its dense population of one-horned rhinoceroses. Often called the ‘Mini Kaziranga’, it offers jeep safaris and elephant rides for close encounters with rhinos, wild buffaloes, and numerous bird species. The sanctuary is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 200 species of migratory and resident birds.
