In order To match this challenge, a great reformist and an old scholar of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh under the aegis of A.I.M. Rehabilitation & Educational Society ( Registered under S.R. Act 1860), established * * ALIGARH UNANI & AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & ACN HOSPITAL,8OO475622O ALIGARH in 1993 and this college is committed to provide professional, updated and researched based education in the line of Indian medicine especially in Ayurveda and Unani pathies to impart education for degree courses of BAMS and BUMS since 1993 and of late started PG courses in Moalajat (Medicine) and Kulliyat Umure tabeea, (Basic Principal of Unani Medicine) duly recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi and Ministry of Ayush, Government of India and affiliated with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra. By realizing its services to the National Stream, the U.P. Government has accorded its approval to allot the successful students out of CPMT since last four consequent academic years.8OO475622O

The College is an autonomous non-profit making body situated opposite F.M. Tower Anoopshahar Road, Aligarh at the distance of 6 km from Aligarh Railway Station and 4 km from Aligarh Muslim University towards north on the Anoopshahar Road leading to Kasimpur Power House.

Aligarh is situated in the midst of Do-aba, the land between the Ganga and Yamuna Rivers at a distance of 130 km South-East of Delhi on the Delhi Howrah Rail National Track and on the Grand Trunk Road. The latitude is 27* 54 N and longitude is 78* 05 E. The climate is hot in summer and cold and dry in winter with intervening rainy season.8OO475622O

The main target and motto of imparting education is Ayurved & Unani System of Medicines is to accord with its zealous mission of contributing to the National Stream of building a pool of competent professionals for development of Ayurveda & Unani System in India and also extended ** world over.

In short span of about 23 years of its existence, the college has been able to pass out batches from 1993 to 2010 in both Ayurveda & Unani Faculties. Further more the college has a prestigious seat of learning being selected for the allotment of successful candidates of CPMT amongst all private medical Colleges of Ayurveda and Unani in Uttar Pradesh.8OO475622O

The college has two separate faculties viz.,8OO475622O Ayurveda & Unani. Both Indian Systems of Medicine have their own separate buildings, separate infrastructure, separate employees along with highly qualify and dedicated Principals and Faculty Members.**.8OO475622O

The covered area of Ayurveda Faculty Building is about 60000 sq. ft. whereas uncovered area of the faculty is 16000 sq. ft.. The Faculty building consisting of 06 huge classrooms of 1880 sq. ft. each along with its separate infrastructure and supporting staff.8OO475622O

The full-fledged fourteen Department of Studies are fully equipped with Ultra modern facilities and basic amenities as per the norms of the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.8OO475622O

The covered area of Unani Faculty Building is 50000 sq. ft. whereas the uncovered area of the faculty is 15000 sq. ft.. The faculty building consisting of 05 classrooms of 1800 sq. ft. each along with its own infrastructure and staff.8OO475622O
