Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 1986. The Department has been recognized as R & D Centre by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, for carrying out Research activities leading to M. Sc.(Engg.) and Ph.D. Degrees. The department offers two UG programs namely, B.E.(Mechanical Engineering) and B.E. (Industrial Engineering and Management, started in 1995) and one PG program namely, M.Tech.(Computer Integrated Manufacturing, started in 2002).
