Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Satara was established in the year 1984, KIMS has become an important center of medical education in Maharashtra. It offers undergraduate degree (MBBS) and degree and diplomas for post graduation in various branches. Post Graduate diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is also offered by the Institute.

KIMS was established 25 years ago. The college enjoys an enviable reputation among Indian medical schools.
