Punjab is the state in the north India. The state capital is Chandigarh, which is administered separately as a Union Territory because it is also the capital of Haryana. The main cities includes Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar etc.

Punjab also has the largest number of Steel Rolling Mill Plants in India.

Golden Temple(Harmandir Sahib) is the most famous place in the punjab. Other are Wagah Borders, Jalianwala Bagh etc. Bhangra is the famous folk dance in the state.
