Hostel

Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad is a fully residential campus. There are separate hostels for Boys and Girls with security personnel and e-surveillance. Every hostel room is fully furnished along with Wi-Fi and broadband facility. The rooms are especially designed to provide conducive learning environment and comfortable living. Every Hostel building encompasses drinking water facility, common refrigerator, Microwave Oven, etc. It has common recreational hall with Television and play area for in-house games.

Learning Resource Center

Knowing the importance of library in any institutions teaching-learning process, SLS, Hyderabad has a well-equipped library with vast array of Books, Bare Acts, Journals, Magazine s, Reports, AIR, Supreme Court Case Reporter, Research Compilations, News Paper Cuttings etc. In addition, it facilitates technological based learning environment by providing access to Lexis-Nexis, Manupatra, West-law, SCC Online and other online databases. The library has earmarked a Research and Innovation section for faculty and students to read, research, and publish articles and research projects. Moot Court Hall

Moot court is one of the most important simulation activities of student s life cycle. It nurture their research, analytical, drafting, argumentative skills and helps them to have experiential learning. SLS, Hyderabad has a grand Moot Court Hall replicating the real Court Room setup with a seating capacity of 200 to host national and International moot court competitions.

As part of a world class infrastructure, SLS-H campus has an envious Auditorium with a capacity of 1200 and all modern facilities like Conventional Hall, Video Conferencing Hall etc. It also has an Assembly hall and a multipurpose hall to house guest lectures of legal stalwarts and functions of the similar kind. The Multipurpose Hall has a seating capacity for 400 students to house small functions. The Assembly Hall has a seating capacity of 240 students for academic and non-academic gatherings.

Canteen

SLS, Hyderabad campus has a canteen to cater to the requirements of 1500 students at a time. It offers multi cuisine dishes at a concessional rate. The canteen is equipped with modern amenities to ensure hygiene and balanced diet of the students.

BBA LLB [Five Years Integrated Programme]

Responding to the strong demand for a breed of youngsters with the potential knowledge of law coupled with the core essentials of management and business to enhance productivity, we have an integrated Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law degree programme BBA LL.B This Programme aims at imparting exhaustive knowledge to the students not merely to withstand but also to excel in the increasingly competitive corporate and litigation fields.

BA LLB [Five Years Integrated Programme]

Our integrated Bachelor of Law programme provides a deep insight into the historical perspective of development of law, political factors influencing policies culminating into law and the intricate relationship between legislations and social problems. This Programme aims at transforming students into socially sensitive sentinels of justice, to excel in the corporate sector and litigation fields.

Career Prospects

After initial assessment through elaborate psychometric tests, assessment and screening process; the students get training, orientation and experiential learning through systematic internships in industry, High Courts, Supreme Court and Non-governmental organizations. The student can look forward to a meaningful and rewarding career with various options such as Judiciary, Corporate practice, Litigation, Academics, Legal Process Outsourcing, Administrative services, Banks, Legal Departments of Companies in different capacities. Eligibility for BA LLB & BBA LLB

Qualification: The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

Age Limit: The candidate should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for SET as on 06 May 2017 (2 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates i.e. 22 year).

The candidates are free to apply to both programmes, while registering for SET. Separate Merit Lists for BBA LLB and BA LLB programmes will be prepared and published. At the time of SET registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply.

Note: It is suggested that those candidates who have studied arts/social sciences subjects for their qualifying examination may apply for BA LLB programme. Similarly, those candidates who have studied commerce/accounts/mathematics may apply for BBA LLB programme. The candidates are free to make their own choice depending on their ability, interest & opportunity. Graduates in both streams are eligible for diverse legal career & opportunities including Corporate, Lawyering, Civil Services, Advocacy, Judiciary, Academic, International Organization Jobs, and International Admissions etc.
