JSS Medical College Admission 2021: UG & PG Admission, Eligibility, Ranking, Fees
JSS Medical College (JSSMC) is a medical college based in Mysore, Karnataka, India. The college offers MBBS course at the undergraduate level, M.D., M.S. and PG Diploma courses at the postgraduate level along with three different subjects of research at the doctoral level.
The MBBS course if offered for duration of five and a half years, whereas, all the postgraduate courses are offered for duration of three years.
Admission to the MBBS course is offered based on NEET score of the candidates, whereas for the PG courses, marks obtained by the candidates in COMEDK PGET are considered for inviting candidates for the counselling rounds. For the Ph.D. courses, the college conducts separate entrance test as well as an interview for evaluation of the candidates.

JSS Medical College MBBS Admissions 2021-2022
JSS Medical College offers the MBBS degree at the Undergraduate level for a duration of five and a half years which includes a year of compulsory rotatory internship. The candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the MBBS course.
Admission to the MBBS course at JSS medical college is through NEET conducted by CBSE. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

50% in 10+2 examination under the Board of Karnataka State with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as optional subjects OR any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Mysore University / Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST, the minimum percentage of marks required for the admission process should be 40% in PCB. Preference will be given to the merit students.

JSS Medical College PG Admissions 2021-2022
JSS Medical also offers MD, MS and Diploma degree at the PG level under various specializations in Medicine. A candidate applying for these courses must have completed the MBBS degree.

Application process for this PG level courses start by the end of March month and admission to all these courses are based on the performance of the candidates at COMEDK PGET score.
The shortlisted candidates are then invited for counselling at the college.
The applicants must have obtained a permanent registration of any State Medical Council
COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) is a state level medical entrance examination but is open for all India candidates. This test acts as the gateway to the the PG courses like MD / MS / MDS.

Eligibility Criteria:
MBBS examination after pursuing a degree in a Medical College, recognized by the Medical Council of India, With the completion of one year compulsory rotating internship in a teaching institution or other institutions recognized by the Medical Council of India.

JSS Medical College Ph.D Admissions 2021-2022
JSS Medical College also gives an opportunity for research in the field of medicine under three different specializations - Anatomy, Biochemistry and Microbiology.
For admission to these courses, the candidates need to appear for an entrance test and candidates shortlisted on the basis of the entrance test are invited for interview at the college.
Eligibility Criteria:
Master s Degree in the concerned subject of this University like M. Sc (Medical), M.D, M.S., M.H, D.N.B, D.M., or a degree considered as an equivalent one by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, are eligible to enrol for Ph.D courses in this University.

Classroom- All the classrooms are equipped with modern technologies to provide students with efficient and quick learning. All the classrooms are also ICT enabled.

Auditorium- The auditorium is provided with advanced audio and video facilities so that all the events, conferences etc are conducted without any difficulty.

Seminar Hall- All the important seminars and lectures from eminent professionals and professors are conducted inside the seminar halls. The seminar halls are also provided with a capacity to accommodate good number of people.

Sports Facility- The administration provides sports facilities to students including indoor and outdoor games including Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Basket-Ball, Throw Ball, Tennikoit, Ball Badminton and Athletic track, Indoor: Table tennis, Chess, Carom, Shuttle Badminton etc. A sports coach is also provided to guide and train the students and make them better in sports.

Library- The library is well equipped with a collection of 57,000 books including text and reference books and 410 journals. The library also has a collection of dictionaries, encyclopaedias, old question papers, lab manuals, syllabus, hand-outs, industrial training reports, theses, books on law education, psychology, philosophy etc. The college has subscribed to 5897 e-journals and 29 databases to provide easy access to information to students and staff. The library timings are from 9 am to 12 pm from Monday to Saturday and 9 am to 11 pm on Sundays.

Laboratory- Different laboratories are provided for different subjects for conducting experiments and lab classes. All the labs are provided with modern equipment. All the labs also have lab technicians to guide the students to provide them with any kind of help.

Student counselling- Students are provided counselling to progress in their career or facing difficulties in their studies. Students are kept under constant interactions by trained professionals so that they can discuss difficulties faced by them. Students are also free to discuss any personal problems with their mentors and the counsellors will make sure to provide them with solutions and guidance. The counsellors also conduct awareness programmes to guide the students and prevent suicide and depression.

Hostel- the College provides separate accommodation to girls and boys based on the availability of seats. All the hostels are provided with basic facilities so that students can have a comfortable stay away from home. All the hostels are also provided with a warden to maintain the rules and regulations of the hostels. All the hostels are also provided with mess facilities which serve hygienic food to students.

Healthcare facility- A medical unit is also provided which takes care of all the medical facilities of students in need. The medical unit has trained doctors to provide treatment to students.
