Abhishek Nethradhama made a humble beginning in December 2001 in Arsikere, Hassan (Dist). With the constant support and encouragement of well wishers later expanded to a fully equipped eye hospital in the heart of Arsikere Town in 2005. Abhishek Nethradhama extended its services to Doddaballapur in 2010.
