Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune was established in 1983 and is a constituent of Symbiosis International. It is an autonomous college but is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The degree is awarded in the name of the affiliated university. Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce is regarded as a "College with Potential for Excellence" by the University Grants Commission. B.Com in Symbiosis

The Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce offers specially modulated 3-year programs in Bachelor of Commerce. There are 7 subjects in the first year which cover all the aspects including general knowledge. It has subjects like General Awareness 1 and 2 which cover Business aspects as well as knowledge about the world. English is divided into two sections; one is Compulsory English and the other is Additional English. The other three courses at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce are Accountancy, Economics, and Mathematics or Computer. Physical Education Course is a compulsory subject in the second semester.
