BTech Admission PES 2025. PES Institute of Technology Bangalore (PESIT) came into existence in the year 1972 and is located in the silicon valley of India that is Bangalore. PES mainly focuses on the main 4 educational streams which are Engineering, Medicine, Life Sciences & Management. PES Institute of Technology Bangalore comes under the engineering stream.
This institute was founded in the year 1988 by the People s Education Society in Bangalore the silicon valley of India. It was earlier attached to VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) and now it comes under its own University. The college provides huge enriching opportunities for the students studying here to achieve skills & experiences in their career journey. The most important aim of PES Institute of Technology Bangalore is to initiate new challenges & seize new opportunities for the students so that they can withstand the challenges in the practical world.
The college is spread around a Sprawling twenty-five acres with complete lush green which gives a remarkable learning experience to the students coming here for their studies. As the college is located in the heart of the city, the students find no difficulty in any of the normal living necessities. The local transport of the city is also good by which they can travel to any part of the city.
Admission criteria
PESU admits 40% of its students to undergraduate courses based on their Karnataka CET ranks and 60% of its students based on PESSAT (the university s entrance test) ranks. PESU also admits students under a Management quota, which may not place any merit requirements. There is a lateral entry scheme in place, by which students holding diploma degrees can directly enter the second year of study in engineering. On graduating, students receive a Bachelor of Technology degree.
Students are admitted to postgraduate courses based on their GATE test scores as well as on their Post Graduate Karnataka CET scores. Upon graduating, they receive a Master of Technology degree.
