Entrance Exams

Comed-K:- For B.E/BTech admission in MSRIT. More than 30% of seats are given in Comed-K counselling for students from all parts of India.

KCET:- For Karnataka state students who want to join MSRIT for B.E engineering. More than 50% of seats are allocated to local students through KEA counselling. BTech in MS Ramaiah via Direct Admission.

Eligibility Criteria

A pass in the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equal with English as one of the subjects. The candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
The students belonging to the common class will need to have handed in the aforesaid qualifying examination with at least 45% combination marks in PCM (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka).

Entrance Exams:-

There are various numbers of Entrance Exams conducted by the Government and the corresponding State Governments which are accepted by The Ramaiah Institute of Technology for the concerned degrees. More than 30% of the seats are given based on entrance exams.
Exams like UGET, KCET, and COMED-K are accepted by the college per the courses.

Direct admission:-

The college has reserved a certain number of seats for the candidates who do not have a good score in the higher secondary and also for those candidates who have not appeared for any entrance exam that was conducted by the Government. The candidate may directly approach the administration of the college and try to get a seat under the available number of seats reserved under the management quota, as these seats have higher demand.
