D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology (DYPIET) is located in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune. You can reach college by old Mumbai-Pune Highway by about 37 km from Pune station. It is almost 3 km from the Talegaon railway station. Many students take local trains upto Talegaon station and then travel to college by sharing a rickshaw that charges a nominal ten rupees per ride. The college also provides a bus from the Talegaon station for students,which is free of cost. Also college provides private bus service from almost all corners of Pune city.



Infrastructure:
The college has a large campus which houses three separate engineering colleges namely D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology (DYPIET), D.Y. Patil College of Engineering (DYPCOE) and D.Y. Patil School of engineering academy (DYPSOE).College Infrastructure is very good having 8 floors. The campus is large and it has nice sports facilities like the big cricket ground.

M.E. Rs 85,000/- per year



Faculty:
The faculty at DY Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology (DYPIET) is not good as most of the staff members are devoid of any teaching experience. There are a few professors who teach very good and students love them. Most of them are weak in English and they have to resort to teaching in Hindi or Marathi.



Attendance:
Attendance is compulsory as per the university norms. It is not a thing to be taken lightly.College is well disciplined.



Crowd:
The Crowd is almost from all over the India.Some students are from Bihar,Rajasthan,Assam as well as Mumbai.The crowd is active and enthusiastic.



Canteen:
Canteen food is good. You get a variety of fast food in here. However, it is big enough that accommodate many students at a time.



Hangouts:
The college campus is great and it is fun to hang out there with a lot of open space around and Wi-fi.



Festivals:
All the Festivals are held at the D.Y.Patil campus,such as Navratri, Ganesh festival, etc. The biggest program Texcellence , Amedhyam , Rajveer Karandak is organized at Dr.D.Y. Patil Campus.



Placements:
In the college there is a training and placement center where the students are trained with different kinds of technical as well as soft skills. This training is provided for the company interviews. More than 100 companies visited in college like Meditab,and around 100 students get placed in this year.
