Scholarships

A special scholarship has been instituted by BNMIT sponsored by a well-wisher of the Institution for meritorious and economically weaker Students belonging to Maratha community.
CET students admitted within the ranking 1000 will be given a scholarship of Rs.25,000/- at the time of admission.
COMEDK students admitted within ranking 3000 will be given a scholarship of Rs.25,000/- at the time of admission.
Toppers in every branch every semester will get a Merit Scholarship of Rs.20,000/-.
Scholarships of Rs.10,000/- to Rs.25,000/- will be given to rural students from economically weaker sections admitted through CET.
The student who is selected to represent VTU in inter-university sports is awarded Rs.10,000/-.
The student who is selected to represent Karnataka in any sport is awarded a scholarship of Rs.25,000/-.
The student who is selected to represent our Country in any sport is awarded a scholarship of Rs.50,000/-.
Cultural scholarship of Rs.10,000/- Rs.25,000/- to VTU Youth Festival.

For Engineering Course

Admission for the first year of the course shall be open to the students who have passed the two years Pre-University Examination (Science) conducted by Karnataka State Pre-University Board or 10 + 2 School Programme of the Central Board (CBSE / ICSE) New Delhi with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as optional subjects and English as a subject of study or those who have passed any other examinations recognized by the VTU as equivalent thereto.
Candidates other than those from Karnataka are required to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from VTU, Belgaum.
The Eligibility norms are periodically fixed by VTU with all relevant details of Academic Eligibility, Recognized Equivalent Courses for admissions to UG Courses as well as PG Courses and Institutions recognized for eligibility.
