POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT (PGDM)

IMT-Nagpur offers Two Year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program to equip students with management education across various functional domains like economics, business analytics & IT, operations, OB & HR, finance, and marketing. It aims to provide young graduates with an opportunity to develop managerial skills across these areas. The program also focuses on developing soft skills among students, along with technical knowledge, which are equally important to compete and thrive in the competitive business environment. The curriculum has been designed to lay a strong foundation for developing the logical and analytical skills of the students. The program provides an intensive, stimulating, and challenging learning experience in the management discipline.

Program Structure

The Two Year PGDM program is covered in six trimesters.
There are 22 Core Subjects, 14 electives (including flexi-core), and 1 summer internship project.
In the first year (during trimesters I, II, and III), the student will learn concepts in all the functional areas of management.
In trimester III, students will be choosing 2 flexi-core courses from a bouquet of courses offered from various functional areas. This enables students to select specializations (major and minor) according to their interest in the 2nd year.
In the second year, the student has to choose 12 electives out of the elective courses offered by the Institute, during three terms i.e. Terms IV, V & VI. There are three ways a student can choose a specialization:
For Dual Specialization, a student has to choose 6 courses in each specialization area.
For major-minor specialization, a student has to take six (6) courses from the first area (major), four (4) courses from the second area (minor) of specialization, and the remaining two (2) courses compulsorily from other areas.
For a single specialization, a student has to choose 6 courses in the specialization area and 6 courses from other areas with not more than 3 courses in any area.

Admissions Eligibility Criteria

Minimum three years Bachelor s degree or equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
CAT (2023)/ XAT (2024)/ GMAT (January 1, 2020 March 15, 2024) / CMAT (2024) for IMT Nagpur

Applicants who are appearing for the final-year degree examination can also apply, subject to submission of all mark sheets and pass certificates to IMT s Academic Program office at a later date. Failing to do so will result in admission being canceled.

In the case of the candidates applying based on the GMAT and the score is not provided, processing of the application will be provisional, subject to IMT receiving the official GMAT score on or before March 15, 2024. Direct Admission IMT Nagpur PGDM Academic Eligibility.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR IMT NAGPUR

Smt Leela Nath Memorial Scholarship: All female candidates who are admitted to any of the PGDM programs at IMT Nagpur, will receive a scholarship of 20% on the academic fee s component. Please note that the scholarship will be disbursed if the candidate joins the campus and pays the required amount of fees and all other components of the fee as mentioned above.

Merit Scholarship: Candidates who have scored a 90 percentile or above in CAT OR XAT OR a 650+ absolute score in GMAT and are admitted to IMT Nagpur, will receive a scholarship of 40% on the academic fee component. Please note that the scholarship is disbursed, post candidate joins the campus and pays the required amount of fees and all other components of the fees mentioned above.

TFW waiver scheme: Candidates eligible and shortlisted for the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme, will not be required to pay the academic fee component as they will get a 100% academic fees waiver. They will, however, have to pay all other components of the fees.
In addition to the same, they will be required to pay an amount of Rs 12,000/- per month towards charges for academic amenities and other facilities. Direct Admission IMT Nagpur PGDM Academic Eligibility.
