ADMISSION THROUGH UNIVERSITY COUNSELING

1. Admission to BTech first-year

Eighty-five percent of the total intake in the B.Tech. first year will be filled through Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow Counselling, based on the rank in the JEE Main entrance exam, as per the Uttar Pradesh Government's order.

To be eligible for the BTech program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as an optional subject, securing 45% marks in these subjects combined (40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories). 2. Admission to B.Tech. Second-year Lateral entry

100% (10% of the total intake in BTech first year) of the B.Tech. Second Year Lateral entry quota seats will be filled through Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow Counselling, based on the Combined Entrance Test CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by NTA, as per the Uttar Pradesh government's order.

Candidates who have passed a three-year Engineering Diploma from an institution located in U.P. with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST), either with or without grace candidates whose parents (Father or Mother) are domiciled in Uttar Pradesh, and the candidate has passed a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). This diploma must be recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (excluding Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy, and Architecture). These eligible candidates are qualified for admission into the Second Year of any branch of Engineering/Technology.

3. Admission under Fee Waiver quota seats

By the AICTE notification, Fee Waiver seats are allocated for economically weaker section meritorious candidates seeking admission in B.Tech., MBA, and MCA courses. These seats will be limited to a maximum of 5% of the sanctioned intake in each course and will be additional to the sanctioned intake.
