Eligibility

Admission to BE, a minimum of 45 % marks aggregates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the P.U.C. examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination is a must. In the case of SC/ST candidates, this percentage is fixed at 40%. Foreign/NRI students are also admitted to the B.E. courses. They must hold a valid student VISA. Hostel- SJBIT Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls, and it provides all the necessary facilities needed for the hostelers. There is a Mess available that offers nutritious food. Hostel rooms are maintained clean and furnished well, a Reading Room facility is offered, and Solar Heater and Cooking accessories are provided. Indoor Games & Out Door Games facilities is also provided for the hostelers.

Library- SJBIT has a spacious Library block that contains a huge collection of books. The library's total number of books is more than 15,000. No of Titles is 2,000 Journals is around 240, and there are more than 550 CDs/DVDs. A Digital Library facility is also available. The library currently subscribes to more than 60+ International & National Technical Journals and Magazines are also included.

Lecture Hall- SJBIT has a well-equipped lecture hall with a multimedia facility for interactive & modern learning. It is an added advantage for the students to learn practically and in an advanced method.

Transport Facility- SJBIT provides a bus facility that covers all the routes of the city to ensure safety for the candidates who come from a far distance from the college
