About Symbiosis Law School

Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune, was established in the heart of Pune city in 1977 to create one of the best LLB colleges in Pune. The aim was to deliver world-class law education to discerning students. SLS Pune was previously associated with the University of Pune. LLB Programme Structure

Bachelor of Legislative Law (LL.B.) is a three-year undergraduate program offered by SLS Pune designed to deliver a comprehensive understanding of law to discerning students. By integrating their domain knowledge into the legal profession, the curriculum will aid students in collecting legal information, skills, IT advocacy, Research, and EU Law from several disciplines and professions to equip them to fulfil various responsibilities as professional attorneys beyond the traditional function of litigation. Eligibility

The candidate should have passed the XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of a passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) - The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (B.A. LL.B.) (Hons.) degree program is a five-year integrated Administrative Law bachelor's degree program offered by SLS Pune. It consists of a combined study of courses from the Arts stream with law education.

B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) - Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (B.B.A. LL.B.) (Hons.) is a five-year integrated Administrative Law degree program provided at the bachelor's level by SLS Pune. Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)

Please note that the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2024 will be conducted through 'CBT Mode'.
SLAT will be conducted through CBT Mode for 60 marks (which will be scaled up to 70 marks).
The structure of the SLAT includes 60 questions for 1 mark each covering Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. The total duration of the test SLAT is 60 minutes.
After the declaration of the SLAT result, SLS Pune will publish the list of shortlisted candidates who are eligible for the Online PI (Personal Interaction) process. Direct Admission Symbiosis Law 2024.

Placement

The final placement report is yet to be released for the Class of 2023. However, the Symbiosis Law School has released the NIRF report 2023 on its official website.
According to the NIRF report 2023, 69 LLB and 88 LLM students were placed during SLS Pune placements in 2022. Further, the median package offered to LLB and LLM students during SLS Pune placements in 2022 was INR 8.20 LPA and INR 8.70 LPA, respectively.
