As soon as we think Himalayas, we think Mt.Everest. Every mountaineer dreams of conquering the Everest someday, but you don’t have to be technically trained to touch the base of Everest. Akka makes it possible to reach the base and experience the breathtaking, picturesque view of the Everest from Kala Patthar, Tyengboche monastery, Namche Bazaar and more.
Other than The Everest region, there is also the Annapurna region. Both are like photographers’ paradise. One can’t imagine putting the camera inside the bag when passing through here. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the culture of the Sherpas and visit ancient monasteries. Stop at any of the numerous teahouses sip a glass of sweetened tea or Chang [Millet beer, for the brave hearts ;)]and get a taste of hospitality unique to the Sherpas. Beautiful, multi-hued prayer flags prayer wheels and intricately carved Mani stones line every hilltop, rock wall and trailside singing prayers to the gods with every breeze and every passing traveler.

We also organize Off-season treks for those who are feeling a wee bit more adventurous, would like to trek under challenging conditions and don’t mind the rain or the scorching sun. Off season treks maybe a disappointment for photography though.
