TAAN, Tansen Academy of Music aims in teaching Hindustani Classical Music in Guru Shishya-Parampara where Hindustani vocal and Instrumental classes are conducted and currently more than 500 promising classical music aspirants are part of the academy. The academy focus on building a disciplined and dedicated community which helps disciples to learn, understand and sing Hindustani classical music.

Krishna Ballesh Co-Founder and Director:
Krishna Ballesh, renowned disciple of Shehnai Maestro Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan Saab and his father Shehnai Chakravathy Pandit S.Ballesh . He is a classical shehnai player and a Hindustani Classical Vocalist, with specialization in Patiala, Kirana and Gwalior gharanas. Nearly 500 plus students are learning Hindustani classical vocal from Krishna Ballesh. He is also disciple of Padmashri Ustad Rashid Khan (Rampur Sahashwana Gharana) and Padmashri Pandit M. Venkatesh Kumar (Gwalior Gharana).
