How is the VIT Vellore college for engineering How are the

I am not India Today magazine and I don't rate colleges based on some *internal* factors.
Let me start by saying that if you are joining VIT Vellore be prepared for the disappointment that awaits you. The infrastructure and quality of education is much worse than the reputation of the institute. So true story is that - it is not a very good college.
But wait, if VIT isn't good then which college is ? The truth is that education system in India isn't the fairy tale we think it is. Each and every college has it's own problems. There is a void everywhere. I won't deny the progress though. Things are changing for good but it will take a few decades before it can meet expectations.
You can't possibly change the system and thus it's wiser to change yourself. If you're ready to fight all the odds and do some serious hard work you'll find that VIT is indeed a great campus to be in. One should always try to see the good things about everything. VIT has an excellent student community. You will not get a great gymkhana but you will get enough opportunities to pursue your hobbies. You will not get to learn from great professors but you will get scope to learn a lot from your peers and internet.
In short, if you have got the talent and motivation then VIT will never be a bottleneck for you. It gives you just enough to become a great engineer :)
