About KIM AHAM..

KIM AHAM means "Who am I"

It is derived from the root Sanskrit word. Activity based learning such as Dance give children more conversations and questioning as well as 'active learning' where children are more involved in their work. children get introduce to Myths, Indian philosophy. We believe Dancing from within.

Classes

KIM AHAM coduct class every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, we give time to students to understand what they are learning in class. we don't force our students for anything.
We limit our classes to fifteen students to ensure quality instruction in each class. All classes have three levels of students in each class. The junior students learn by watching the seniors, and the senior students solidify their own learning by practicing their old lessons with the juniors. When first admitted into a batch, junior students may spend some time on the sidelines simply watching. This provides a tremendous learning opportunity for them - please trust the teacher's judgement :)

Tuition
Tuition for junior class is Rs 1500 per month and senior class is Rs.2000 per moth. The observation class is considered a paid class if you decide to join, but there is no charge if you decide the class is not right for you.

Performing
KIM AHAM is a classical arts school. A minimum of five years commitment is needed to master a basic dance. While we appreciate that parents are eager for their children to advance quickly, it is not helpful for the dancer or the teacher to force this process. It must come "from within!" , We promise to encourage one performance in a year

Dress code.....

Dressed in salwar kammeez (or similar loose-fitting clothing) to allow for easy movement during class. Once students are registered, we require that they procure a uniform.
