KERALA TOUR PACKAGE

Day 01: Cochin - Munnar (Tea Garden & Hill station)Arrivals at Cochin airport/Ernakulam railway station then proceed to Munnar. one of the best hill stations of South India - is situated at a height of 1600 m from Sea Level. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams, this hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea Plantations, small towns and beautiful houses make this a popular hill station. Munnar is also famous for exotic flora - like Neelakurunji, which blooms once in 12 years. Anamudi, the highest peak of south India is situated in this area and is an ideal place for Trekking. Check in to hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 02 : Munnar Sight seeing and Optional activities: Mattupetty Dam (Speed boating facilities are available here- optional), Echo Point, Kundala Dam and Photo point, Visit Tea museum, and Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars). Overnight stay at Munnar

Day 03:Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar,Wild life sanctuary)
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Thekkady.Thekkady is famous for the world famous Periyar Tiger reserve and sanctuary one of the best preserved sanctuaries of India. Here you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild animals in their natural habitat from the safety of a boat. (boating is optional) Animals you can spot here includes wild elephants,boar,the great Indian tiger,Bison,Spotted Deer,Gaur etc. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 04: Alleppey (Backwaters) Aleppey (Alappuzha) is a District of immense natural beauty. Known as the Venice of the East, it is famous for backwaters, boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir products. A singular characteristic of this land is the region called Kuttanad. The land of lush paddy fields, Kuttanad is called the rice bowl of Kerala and is the one of the few places in the world where farming is done below the sea level. After breakfast checkout hotel and transfer to Alleppey . 12 noon check into houseboat. Day free to relax and enjoy backwaters of Alleppey and enjoy kerala village life.
Drive to Cochin. Cochin Sight Seeing Optional.
Drop at Cochin Airport / Railway Station.
