Dr. Srikanth earned his bachelor degree (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Bellary in 1987. After attaining his degree, in 1992 he went to Mysore medical college for doing MS (General Surgery).His FRCS was completed at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons from Glasgow, UK in 1996. Dr. Srikanth was appointed as the Registrar in Surgical Oncology at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in October 1992.
