Day 1 : Cochin-Munnar

Pick up from the Airport/Train Station and head towards the hills. (120 km Distance from Cochin International Airport) After covering 1/3rd the distance notice the change in landscape with breath taking scenery, you get to see the mountain side interspersed with tea gardens. A brief stop over en route at Cheeyapara waterfalls and as evening approaches, stop once again at the Punarjani Traditional Village, an attraction which showcases Kerala s art and culture Night halt at Munnar.

Day 2 : Munnar-Munnar

Morning Drive to Eravilkulam National Park. Walk through the national park to see the niligiritragus hylocrius, (common name being Nilgiri Tahr an endangered species). Get to see flora in the park. Afternoon Kannan Devan Tea Museum and get to know about the art of tea processing. You also get to know to the origin of Munnar through a short documentary film. (28 minutes) Night halt at Munnar.

Day 3 : Munnar-Thekkady

Moving in a south easterly direction the long winding roads along the western ghats will lead to Thekkady and break off for a quick bite ! Afternoon Proceed to Periyar Tiger Reserve and enjoy the boat ride in the Periyar Lake. Get to see the flora and fauna from the safety of the boat. Visit the Kadathanadan Kalari Centre and get treated to a show of art and culture of Kerala. Night halt at Thekkady.

Day 4 : Thekkady-Alleppey Backwater

Morning ( 160 Kms. 5 Hour) Drive through from Thekkady to Alleppey. Get to see the greenery enroute from spice plantation in the hills to rubber cultivation and rice fields as you head towards the plains. Check into House Boat. Afternoon Cruise along the back waters and narrow canals enroute. Return by evening. Enjoy the comfort of a night halt in the House Boat anchored to shore.

Day 5 : Alleppey Backwater Cochin

Morning 0900 am Check Out from Houseboat Proceed to Cochin Airport/Train Station for onward destination.
