    Christ University (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, offers multiple programmes at Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), PhD and M Phil levels in streams like Engineering, Management, Commerce, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, etc.

    Admission process usually begins in January.

    Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG courses

    Minimum cutoff for admission to PG courses at Christ University varies between 45-60% marks depending on the course. However, there s no minimum cutoff fixed for admission to UG courses. The candidate planning to pursue a UG course at the university must have passed Class XII from a recognized board/university.

    Admission Process

    Admission to Christ University (Deemed to be University) is done on the basis of merit scored in previous qualifying exam, skill assessment and personal interview except BBA, BHM, B Com (H), B Com (Professional), B Com (International Finance), (MSc) in Mathematics and BA in Media Studies, Communication and Media, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History, English, Psychology, Journalism.

    The University conducts its own entrance test for the above mentioned programmes.

    Post the first phase of screening process, selected candidates are invited for Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation and Personal Interview rounds.

    For MBA (Tourism and Travel Management) admission, the university conducts Group Discussion along with Micro Presentation, Written Assessment, Verbal Assessment and Personal interview.

    For MBA the candidate must have appeared in any of the following competitive exam and must have scored at least the minimum marks fixed by Christ University (Deemed to be University).

    Exams and their cutoffs

    A composite score of 600 or above in MAT September / December / February

    A composite score of 450 or above in GMAT

    70 percentile or above in CMAT December / January

    70 percentile or above in CAT

    70 percentage or above in ATMA

    70 percentile or above in XAT

    One year work experience (full time / part time / family business also considered) for Candidates applying for the Dual Degree PGDM (CU)+MBA, (FHWS, Germany) Programme (MANDATORY)

    The candidates will be intimated about the Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation and Personal Interview by the respective departments. The candidates can also check the same on the official website.

    Application Process

    Candidates can apply at Christ University (Deemed to be University) in online as well as offline mode.

    Online mode

    The applicants will have to create a login ID by registering on the Christ University (Deemed to be University) website by entering email address, date of birth and mobile number. Applicants can the fill and submit the application form along with the application fee of Rs 1000 through the payment gateway with a valid Credit / Debit Card / net banking facility.

    Offline mode

    Candidates will have to purchase the prospectus at the admission cell and fill the application offline. Then they will have to log on to the website by creating a login ID. After creating the ID they will have to click Proceed with Application option to enter offline application number and receipt number before entering all the details filled in the hard copy of the application.

    Application forms of B Com (Regular), B Com (Finance & Accountancy) and B Com (Morning) must be submitted in person only to the Office of Admissions within 3 working days from the declaration of class XII results (Karnataka PUC / CBSE / ISC).

    Other Boards whose results may be declared after the above mentioned boards will be considered subject to availability of seats.

    Admit Card

    The admit card for the entrance exam will be issued five days prior to the scheduled date.

    The candidates can download their admit cars from the official website by logging in with the help of their Application Number and Date of Birth.

    Admission Cycle

    Admission process at Christ University (Deemed to be University) begins in December and ends by May every year. Registration dates of some of the courses have been announced. Please refer to the quick links for course specific dates.

    Application process for admission through International Student/NRI category is different from that of domestic students.

    NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals may pay the application and admission fees through Demand Draft, made in favour of Christ University, payable at Bengaluru.

    Note: International students coming from Non-English speaking countries should produce proof of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or have IELTS score of 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL score of: 550 (paper), 213 (computer) or 79 (IBT).

    Interested candidates can apply online/offline with marks obtained 10, 10+2 and Degree.

    GD/ Micro Presentation (MP)
    Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion for 35 minutes for each group and Micro Presentation for 90 sec/ student in a group.

    Written Test
    Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Assessment to write on topic for not more than one A4 size sheet and for not more than 10 minutes.

    Verbal Assessment(VA) & Interview (PI)
    Shortlisted candidates will be called for Verbal Assessment and Personal Interview. Verbal Assessment and Personal interview for each candidate will be done by an expert panel. The Verbal Assessment (VA) will be conducted during the PI (Personal Interview) process.

    Final Selection
    Candidates are selected based on performance in class 10, class 12, and graduation and performance in group discussion, written assessment, verbal assessment and personal interview
