We are the proud recipients of the prestigious Patient Friendly Hospital Award received from His Excellency E. S. L. Narasimhan, Governor, Telangana State at AHPI Global Conclave on 23rd February 2015 at Hyderabad, India. We were fortunate to receive the Qualtech Award for breakthrough process improvement (Lean Six Sigma in Eye Care) at the annual QIMPRO convention held in Mumbai.

Patient care is multi-disciplinary in nature. Every individual is cared for by the team of doctors, counselors and coordinators offering personalized care and catering to the information needs of our patients. Strategically located information kiosks ensure patients access to the 3 dimensional audio-visual displays of various eye disorders. Seamless transfer of information is ensured by diligent documentation and monitoring of electronic medical records in the HIS. We have acquired new equipment s like, Visumax Femtosecond Laser for performing flap less, blade-less lasik called SMILE (First time in South India from Carl Zeiss, Germany), Avedro KXL System, iTrace Surgical workstation, IOL Master 700 and Lumera 700 Microscope, IFS, Macular OCT, CATALYS Precision Laser System for cataract surgery. We are the first eye hospital in South Asia to install the environment friendly plasma sterilizer PlazMax from Tuttnauer. We have the state-of -the -art Computer Vision Clinic to detect and treat Computer Vision Syndrome.

We encourage medical students considering post-graduation and of career in various sub specialties of Ophthalmology. We also regularly conduct continuing medical education programmes. We are affiliated with Diplomate of National Board, New Delhi for post-graduation in Ophthalmology and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences for post-doctoral fellowship programs. We have a very comprehensive curriculum for the training of our students. This is supported by our dedicated and committed faculty.

The Hospital has started B.Sc. courses in Optometry through Nethradhama School of Optometry. The course is the First of its kind in the state of Karnataka to be recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by Government of Karnataka.
