LBSIM is recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India and currently offers the following Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which are two-year full-time programs recognized by AICTE: PGDM Admission under Management Quota in LBSIM

5. PGDM (E-Business)
6. Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

The PGDM (General) and the PGDM (Financial Management) programs have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and have been accorded equivalence with MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

Master's Degree or equivalent in Management/ Economics/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanities or any related and allied discipline with a first class. PGDM Admission under Management Quota in LBSIM

Those appearing for their final examination can also apply. Such students, if selected, shall be provisionally admitted, provided they complete all requirements in obtaining their master's degree before 30th September of the year of admission.

The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the certificate proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year mark sheet/ degree is 31st December. A maximum age of 45 years on the closing date of the application.

SELECTION PROCESS

Candidates are short-listed based on CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, prior academic performance, work experience, and other information disclosed in the application form.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for Extempore, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview which will be held during February and March 2025.
Weightage for final selection will be 60% for CAT/XAT/GMAT score and 40% for prior academic performance, Written Ability Test/ Extempore, Group Discussion & Personal Interview, and work experience.
The Selection Process may be modified because of the situation prevailing at that time of the year.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission to the Fellow Program shall normally be made once a year through an open advertisement inviting applications. PGDM Admission under Management Quota in LBSIM

Applicants are required to submit the completed applications along with copies of all the necessary Certificates and testimonials before the last date of submission of the application form along with a research proposal of about 5000 words in the area of his/her research interest (tentative research proposal).

A candidate fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria should have a valid test score (not older than three years from the closing date of application) in CAT/GMAT/UGC-NET in the relevant discipline. In the absence of CAT/GMAT/UGC-NET, the candidates need to appear for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) of the Institute.
