BBA Admission Procedure open for the Academic Year 2019-20

Please read and understand the instructions mentioned below before you proceed for registration. It is mandatory to appear for the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) for admission to Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Noida

Application Procedure:

For seeking admission to the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Noida students should adopt and complete the following procedure:

Step I:
The applicant must register online for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Examination,2019. For more details please visit: www.set-test.org

For mode of payment, please visit: www.set-test.org Applicant shall receive the prospectus from Symbiosis International University, Pune only.

Step II:
While registering for SET, applicant has to also apply for SCMS-N in the same application form. A fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid for registration for SCMS-N. This is mandatory condition, without which applicant will not be considered for short-listing for the PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process.

The payment for this can be made online along with the payment of SET registration OR by forwarding a Demand Draft in favour of "Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies" payable at Noida, to the Institute OR by paying online to the institute OR through Net Banking (account details are available on the Application form).

In case payment is made by Demand Draft, please mention your name and the SET ID number on the back of the Demand Draft and send it by speed post (EMS)/Registered AD.

Please ensure that payment of Rs. 1000/- for application for SCMS Noida is made separately. Without this payment, application shall not be considered. The last date for payment for SCMS Noida is May 12, 2019 whereas the last date of payment through demand draft for SCMS - Noida is May 7, 2019.

Eligibility:
The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) standard examination from any government-recognized board with minimum 50% marks (45% for S.C. / S.T. students) in one attempt (No Compartment / Supplementary). Students who have appeared for their Std. XII finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.

Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible for the Course.

For students, who wish to apply for Business Analytics as a specialization (all specializations commence from second Year), high degree of proficiency in mathematics and a minimum of 80% marks in XII std. / combination of Economics and mathematics in Std. XII would be given preference.

Intake:
For the academic year 2019-20, the total intake is 300 seats.

Reservation of Seats:

Within the Sanctioned Intake:
Scheduled Caste: 15%

Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%

Differently Abled: 3%

Over & Above Sanctioned Intake:
Jammu and Kashmir Migrants: 2 Seats Per Programme

International Students: 15% (Including PIO and NRI)

Selection Procedure:
Selection is done in two phases:

Candidates will be short listed on the basis of the SET score.
The short listed candidates will be invited for PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process:
Symbiosis International University NOIDA Campus (Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Sector 62, Block A, 47-48, NOIDA 201301)
Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of SET Score and PI-WAT performance.

Short listing:
The criteria of short listing candidates for PI-WAT are based on multiple factors like:

Performance at National Level entrance tests (SET).

Fee Structure:
Rs. 2,65,000/- per annum + Rs.10,000/- Security Deposit
