SIP Abacus makes math more fun for kids

Most people equate abacus with math, when at SIP Abacus that is not entirely true. What makes SIP Abacus a unique and essential programme for children is Abacus and Art.

The SIP Abacus programme uses three important tools to impact children - Abacus, Brain Gym and Speed Writing. Through this programme, children learn to enjoy numbers, develop their mental skills of concentration, visual memory, building their self-confidence and much more.

Taking the fear of math out of the equation, children find it surprisingly easy to enjoy numbers. The Brain Gym Exercises also help children to relax and invigorate their minds, allowing them to improve their ability to learn, do school work faster and have more time to pursue their passions.

Founded in 1997 by Mr. Kelvin Tham in Malaysia, SIP Abacus was set up to meet the challenging demands of the younger generation. As a skill development programme for children between 7-12 years, it focuses on improving essential learning skills.

Currently, the SIP Abacus programme is available in 12 countries and was initiated in India in August 2003.
