Sports Authority of India (SAI) New Delhi invites Online Applications from eligible Indian Citizens (Sports Persons including Olympians) for filling up 176 vacancies of Assistant Coaches 2016-17 in various Sports Discipline at its various Regional Centres / Sub-Centres / Training Centres spread all over India. The last date for submission of Online registration is 12th December 2016.

Sports Discipline wise Vacancies: Archery - 12, Athletics - 15, Badminton - 10, Boxing - 18, Cycling - 10, Football - 20, Gymnastics - 10, Hockey - 10, Judo - 06, Kho-Kho/ Kabaddi - 04, Lawn Tennis - 06, Swimming - 10, Volleyball - 08, Water Sports - 12, Wrestling - 15, Weight Lifting - 10.

Minimum Educational / Professional Qualification:

(1) Diploma in coaching from SAI / NS-NIS or from any other recognized Indian / Foreign University. (OR)

(2) Participation in Asian Games/ World Championship with Certificate Course in Coaching. (OR)
(3) Qualification and participation in Olympic Games.
Selection Process: Written Test (Online), Physical Fitness Test/ Skill Test followed by Interview. The eligible candidates will be called for a written examination which will be held at Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai Bangalore and Guwahati or other place as decided by the Sports Authority of India. The successful candidates in the Online Computer Based Test will be called to appear for Physical fitness test/ Skill test followed by the Interview. The entire process of Online Computer Based Test, field test and interview is likely to be completed by 31st December 2016.

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC category required to pay 569/- Only. No fee is required to be paid by woman candidates and SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen. The candidates have to visit any branch of the State Bank of India for depositing the fee through pre-printed challan only.
