Staff Selection Commission released new notification on their official website for the recruitment of total 2221 (two thousand two hundred and twenty one) jobs.

Sub-Inspector (Male): 616
Sub-Inspector (Female): 256
Sub-Inspector (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs): 786
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) (Executive) in CISF: 563

Age Limit: 20 - 25 Years as on 1st January 2017. Age Relaxation as per Govt. Rules.

Pay Scale:
(a) For Sub-Inspector -> Level-6 35400-112400/-

(b) For Assistant Sub-Inspector -> Level-5 29200-92300/-

Educational Qualification (as on 01/01/2017): Bachelor's Degree from a Recognised University or Equivalent.

Selection Process: Computer Based Mode Examination, Physical Endurance Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

Fee charges:- Applicants who wanted to participate for Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector vacancies should pay the below charges through SBI Challan/ SBI Net banking or through credit/ debit cards of any bank.
SC/ST/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted Fee
Others: Rs. 100/- (Rupee one hundred only)
