The Yenepoya University is that the 1st personal University within the District of Dakshin Kanarese (South Canara).
The Medical faculty Hospital has one thousand beds, provides out-patient, in-patient and casualty and emergency services. it's Intensive Coronary Care Unit, medical aid Unit, medical specialty medical aid Unit, baby Care Unit, Surgical medical aid Unit and specialised isolated sterile burns ward all equipped with needed monitors, pulse oxymeters, defibrillators, ventilators, infusion pumps and numerous alternative specialised equipments needed for important patient care.
