The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 50% of marks equivalent to two-year pre-university in Karnataka with science and mathematics and mandatory subjects to be eligible for admission to MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
The eligibility marks for admission is 45% in general and 40% in SC/ST category students.
