Indian Air Force Technical and Non-Technical Group X&Y Rally

Indian Air Force (IAF) offers opportunities for Unmarried Male Indian Citizens from the designated Districts of State of Madhya Pradesh and State of Uttar Pradesh (Lalitpur & Jhansi Districts only) to join as Airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group 'Y' {For Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor (GTI) and Indian Air Force (Police) [IAF(P)] only} Trades and Group 'X' (Technical) Trades will be held at Collectorate, Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh) from 3rd December 2015 to 9th December 2015.

Trade,Educational Qualifications

Group 'Y' {For Automobile Technician, GTI & IAF(P) only} Trades,Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (OR) Passed Two years Vocational Course recognized by Association of Indian Universities (CBSE / Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Education Kerala) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Group 'X' (Technical) Trades,Passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (OR) Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.

Date of Birth Block:

(a) Candidates born between 01 February 1996 to 31 May 1999 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the Recruitment Rally.
(b) In case, a candidate clears the Selection Procedure then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years.

Pay & Allowances: During training, a stipend of 11,400/- per month will be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Grade Pay, Military Service Pay (MSP), Group 'X' Pay {applicable for Group 'X' (Technical) Trades only} and Dearness Allowance (DA) will be as follows:-

(a) Group 'X' (Technical) Trades -> 24,900/- per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to 43,940/- per month (approximately).
(b) Group 'Y' { For Automobile Technician, GTI & IAF(P) only} Trades -> 20,500/- per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to 38,720/- per month (approximately).

Selection Process: Written Test, Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Interview and Medical Examination.
