NIREH Bhopal Recruitment 2016 Scientist-E (06 Vacancies)

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) invites applications for recruitment to fill up 6 posts of Scientist-'E' at National Institute for Research in Environmental Health (NIREH), Bhopal. The closing date for submission of applications is 31st March 2016.

About: NIREH at Bhopal is an institute of ICMR set up in year 2010, to undertake research on the environmental issues as a national apex organisation including continuing health needs of patients affected by exposure to Methyl Isocyanate (MIC), biomedical research on issues related to gas-exposed victims particularly respiratory and eye related diseases, kidney diseases, cancer, genetic disorders, congenital disorders, mental and neurological health, medical issues related to woman and second generation children related medical issues and rehabilitation. The institute is mandated to play a leading role in tacking environmental health issues as an apex research institution on environmental health in India.

Essential Qualifications: Post graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with seven years R 6t D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subject with eight years R 8tD/teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university. (OR) MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 10 years R & D/Teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS Degree.

Desirable Qualifications: Additional post doctoral research/ teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data Management.

Application Fee: 500/- for General and 100 only in case of OBC/SC/ST. The fee in the form of Crossed Demand Draft (DD) payable to the Director-General, ICMR, New Delhi is to be paid by the applicant. However, Physically Handicapped candidates (PH) are exempted from the application fee. Fee is payable by all other candidates including ICMR employees.
