Alliance School of Law, Alliance University is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The Alliance School of Law offers two five-year, integrated undergraduate courses in law, viz., Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law Honors B.A. LL. B. (Hons.)) and Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Law Honors B.B.A LL. B. Alliance School of Law also offers a full-time, one-year Master of Law (LL. It is essential for a graduate of law to have a robust understanding of the social sciences. Law and social sciences share a strong mutual relationship. Learning Delivery
There are five subjects in the first semester and four subjects along with the Dissertation in the second semester
Each subject is of four credits
Each credit is equivalent to 15 classroom contact hours and includes practical training classes.
Alongside classroom hours, a student may also be allotted practical exercises as a part of the curriculum.
For the award of the degree of LL. M., a student has to successfully complete ten subjects, or the equivalent of 40 credits respectively
Internship and Placement Cell
The Internship and Placement (IP) Cell of the Alliance School of Law works round the year in building relationships and networking with legal professionals from across multiple sectors. The IP Cell is dedicated to advising students on career options and providing them with the latest information on law internship and final placement opportunities. The IP Cell also arranges for training and legal luminary interaction sessions and facilitates opportunities for law internships and final placements.
The IP Cell constantly liaises with law firms and renowned legal practitioners to update prospective recruiters on the students' competencies, availability, background and interests to secure a commitment for campus placements even while it assists graduating students in securing positions in leading national and international law firms.

The course is aimed at preparing its graduates for rewarding careers in various legal roles and responsibilities, while it comprehensively builds and reinforces in them the proficiency skills of legal expertise and an in-depth conceptual understanding of cyber laws and its applications to the protection, infringement and commercialization of digital information in a global context. Graduates undergo rigorous training on the statutes and case law that define and explain cybercrime as also their relevance to privacy, piracy, authentication, consumer protection and strategies for network protection in a global context.
PGDCEL is a carefully crafted course where graduates gain practical insights and academic perspectives on cybercrime and e-commerce law and study subjects such as e-contract and cyber tort; electronic and mobile commerce; the jurisprudence of electronic communication and cyber space; electronic communication crimes and cybercrimes; intellectual property law and the electronic and digital environment; electronic evidence; cyber forensics and technology court, among others. Alliance Center for Communication and Internet Law (ACCIL), a center that engages academicians, jurists and practitioners in research and training on cyber laws at Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, proposed to start the one-year, mixed-mode, Post Graduate Diploma in Cybercrime and E-commerce Law (PGDCEL) course. The course is aimed at preparing its graduates for rewarding careers in various legal roles and responsibilities, while it comprehensively builds and reinforces in them the proficiency skills of legal expertise and an in-depth conceptual understanding of cyber laws and its applications to the protection, infringement and commercialization of digital information in a global context. Graduates undergo rigorous training on the statutes and case law that define and explain cybercrime as also their relevance to privacy, piracy, authentication, consumer protection and strategies for network protection in a global context.
PGDCEL is a carefully crafted course where graduates gain practical insights and academic perspectives on cybercrime and e-commerce law and study subjects such as e-contract and cyber tort; electronic and mobile commerce; the jurisprudence of electronic communication and cyber space; electronic communication crimes and cybercrimes; intellectual property law and the electronic and digital environment; electronic evidence; cyber forensics and technology court, among others. While PGDCEL is designed as a classroom-based program of study, it provides unmatched flexibility and classroom interactivity to students and working professionals who are unable to pursue a full-time program in cybercrime and e-commerce law, by offering an online mode of study.
Alliance Center for Intellectual Property Studies (ACIPS), a center that engages academicians, jurists and practitioners in research and training on the promotion and protection of IP rights at the Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, offers the one-year, mixed-mode, Post Graduate Diploma in Patent and Intellectual Property Laws (PGDPIPL) course. The course is aimed at preparing its graduates for rewarding careers in various intellectual property protection roles, while it comprehensively builds and reinforces in them the proficiency skills of legal expertise and an in-depth conceptual understanding of patent and intellectual property protection regimes in the global context.
Graduates will also study the legal dimensions of IP law and jurisprudence across a wide variety of fields such as biosciences and pharma, industrial research and development, information technology, engineering and design and law enforcement. Although the course is classroom based, it offers unmatched flexibility and interactivity through its online study mode to students who are unable to pursue a full-time program in IP rights.
Graduates undergo rigorous training in the laws and processes related to intellectual property rights, including relevant applications and procedures that define and explain protection, maintenance, remedies against infringement of IP rights, IP licensing and IP valuation. PGDPIPL is a carefully crafted course where graduates gain practical insights and academic perspectives on IP rights and their protection and study subjects such as protection and maintenance of copyright, trademark and design; patent litigation and dispute resolution; and IP transaction and management. The course also develops critical abilities of graduates in the areas of technical, legal and IP management skills related to the protection, infringement and commercialization of intellectual property rights.
