Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPC), Bhubaneswar intends to recruit bright, qualified and energetic professionals for engagement of Diploma Engineer trainees (DETs) follows for their placement at various units & project sites. The Online Registration start from 14th January 2016 and close on 31st January 2016.

Diploma Engineer Trainees - Electrical (DET (EL)),27,18 to 32 Years as on 01/01/0216. Age Relaxation 05 Years for SC, ST, SEBC and Women and 10 Years for PH Candidates., 12,000/- per month plus medical allowance at a fixed rate of 200/- per month and an additional amount of 1000/-per month shall be paid to trainees if posted at Balimela, Mukhiguda, Khatiguda and Potteru as Remote Area Allowance.

Scale of Pay: On successful completion of the training, the candidates will be appointed as Junior Manager (E-2 Grade) in the respective cadre on probation for 1 (one) year and placed in the scale of 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay 4600/- with other allowances as per OHPC Rules.

Essential Qualification: Full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized University/ Institution/ State Council of Technical Education with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates awaiting final results may also apply.

Selection Process: Written Test and Personal Interview. Eligible candidates will be called for Written Test comprising multiple choice questions from (i) General Aptitude (50 questions) (ii) Subject Knowledge (100 questions) to be conducted at Bhubaneswar or anywhere in the state of Odisha. General aptitude will comprise General Knowledge, English, Current Affairs, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning Test. Candidates qualifying in the written test shall be called for the personal interview at Bhubaneswar.

Application Fee: A non-refundable A/C payee Demand Draft (DD) for 350/- (not applicable for SC, ST and PH) drawn in favour of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited, payable at Bhubaneswar.

How to Apply: Eligible Candidates need to apply online in OHPC website from 14/01/2016 (at 10:00 AM) to 31/01/2016 up to 4:00 PM.

After filling up the Online application; Candidate is required to download the application form with unique registration number & take a print out of the same in A4 size paper and has to duly sign in the print copy of the on line application form in the space provided.
