AITER invites applicants for Diploma Course wid Job gurantee

An ISO 9001:2008 certified and Govt. of West Bengal registered Centre on Technical education and Research invites application from Indian citizens for the following courses for its spring academic session 2014-2015. Classes are to commence from 2nd. August, 2014.
Courses Offered:
1) Diploma in AutoCAD Designing with 3D: Duration 1 years, Total Course Fees: 10,000 INR, Total Student Intake Capacity: 17. Two seats are reserved for BPL category students with excellent academic records. They are not required to pay any fees. Eligibility Criteria: Higher Secondary with at least 50% in aggregate with preferably Science background. However students from Commerce/Arts can also apply.
2) Senior Certificate Course on Surveying Technology: Duration: 2 yrs, Total Course Fees: 30,000. Installment systems are available. Total Student Intake capacity: 17. 02 seats are reserved for extraordinary meritorious students from backward classes under BPL. They will be imparted education on free ship basis. Instruments to be trained: Chain & Tapes, Prismatic Compass, Theodolite, Dumpy Level, Electronic Total Station, Global Positioning System (GPS) and DGPS, Auto Level. Eligibility Criteria: Secondary Level of Education.
3) Diploma in surveying technology & Geo information Systems (GIS); Duration 2 years, Total Course Fees: 35,000. Installment facilities are available. Education No. of Student Intake Capacity: 17. Two (02) seats are reserved for extra-ordinary meritorious students from backward classes on free ship basis. Subjects to be covered include: Principles of Remote Sensing, Geographical Information Systems(GIS), Global Positioning Systems & Differential Positioning Systems(GPS & DGPS), Computer Programming, Geo-Statistics, Digital Image Processing, Geosciences & Image Interpretation, Geoinformatics in natural Resource Management, Geoinformatics in Disaster management & Geoinformatics in Urban & Regional Planning, Geo-Computations(Plane Table, Theodolite, Dumpty Level, Prismatic Compass, Electronic Total Station, Auto Level). Eligibility Criteria: Graduation with Science, Commerce or Geographical background.
