CTU Recruitment 2015 Chandigarh Bus Driver (114 Vacancies)

Chandigarh Administration, CTU Chandigarh Recruitment of Heavy Bus Drivers for filling up 114 Vacancies on Regular Basis in Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) Chandigarh. Eligible Indian Nationals apply online from 9th November 2015 to 30th November 2015.

BUS (HEAVY VEHICLE) DRIVER,114,25 to 35 Years as on 01/01/2015 (Age Relaxation for 05 Years for SC & 03 Years for OBC), 5910-20200 during the probation period

Pay Scale: After successful completion of the probation period, the directly recruited bus driver will be entitled to receive the salary equivalent to the minimum of the pay scale i.e. 5910-20200 and Grade Pay 2400/- (initial start 9880/- plus usual allowances as admissible to the Chandigarh Administration employees from time to time).

Qualification and Experience:

(1) Matriculation pass;
(2) Should hold a valid licence to drive heavy transport vehicle; and
(3) At least five years experience to drive heavy transport vehicles and has not been convicted for any offence indicating that he is not capable of performing efficiently the duties of the post. The ex-servicemen candidates who possess Army Matriculation certificates shall also be eligible.

Processing Fee: 800 for General / OBC and 400 for SC / Ex-Servicemen candidates (non-refundable). The Processing fee will be deposited in any branch of Punjab National Bank against the challan generated from system while filling online application. The last date for depositing the fee shall be 03/12/2015.

Selection Process: Written Test (objective type multiple choices) and Driving Skill Test

Written Test: The written test consist of three sections:-

Driving Skill Test: The Driving Skill Test consists of three parts:-

(a) Dug/Ramp test (Reverse driving test) one chance.
(b) "8" Shape driving test (for only those who qualify the dug/ramp test) one chance.
(c) Road Test (for only those who qualify both (a) & (b) tests above) one chance. The candidates shall be called for counseling before skill test and only candidates who are eligible in all respects shall be called for skill test.
