Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh invites Online Applications for filing up posts of Senior Residents, Resident Anaesthetists, Resident Pathologist, CMOs (General Medicine & Surgery), Demonstrators, EMO & MO/LMO in the various departments of GMCH on tenure basis. The closing date for submission of online applications is 18th November 2015.

Upper Age Limit (as on 01/01/2015):

For Senior Residents, Resident Anaesthetist, Resident Pathologist, Casualty Medical Officers (General Medicine & General Durgery) -> 33 years and in case of post doctoral degree holders is 35 years. Age Relaxation 03 Years for OBC, 05 Years for SC / ST, for others as per Rules.

For Demonstrators, Emergency Medical Officer & Medical Officers (MO) / Lady Medical Officer -> 30 years for MBBS and 33 years for PG degree holder. Age Relaxation 03 Years for OBC, 05 Years for SC / ST, for others as per Rules.

Educational Qualifications:

Senior Resident / Casualty Medical Officer (General Medicine & General Surgery) / Resident Anaesthetist & Resident Pathologists -> Postgraduate Medical Degree i.e. (M.D./M.S./M.D.S/ D.M./M.Ch/DNB) OR equivalent in the concerned specialty (recognized by MCI and registered either with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council). If such candidates are not available in any particular speciality, those with postgraduate diploma can be considered.

Senior Resident (Hospital Administration) -> Postgraduate Medical degree (MD Hospital Administration / MD General Medicine). If such candidates are not available in any particular specialty, those with post graduate diploma can be considered.

Demonstrators (except for the Department of Forensic Medicine) / Medical Officer/ Lady Medical Officer -> MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)/ M.Sc (Medical) in concerned specialty for non-medical persons from Medical Institute/Faculty for Demonstrators.

Demonstrator and Emergency Medical Officer in the Department of Forensic Medicine -> MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred.

Application Fee: 500/- for General and OBC Category; 250/- for SC / ST Category candidates. Physically Handicapped and the candidates, whose name are sponsored by the Regional Employment Exchange (REE), UT, Chandigarh are exempted from Application fee. The Candidates should go to any Branch of State Bank of India with the fee Payment Challan duly filled in and pay the prescribed Application Fee in the "Power Jyoti" account of GMCH.

How To Apply: Eligible Doctors apply Online on or before 18/11/2015 up to 01:00 PM. The hard copies of application on prescribed format (filled online application form) alongwith photocopies of certificates/testimonials must reach in the office on or before 20/11/2015 upto 4:00 PM in the office of DIRECTOR PRINCIPAL, DIARY & DISPATCH SECTION, ROOM NO. 228-A, BLOCK-D, GMCH-32, CHANDIGARH.
