02 Nights Munnar | 01 Night Allepey Houseboat - Tour Packages in Kerala

Day 1: Cochin to Munnar

After bereakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Munnar. The drive from Kochi to Munnar is marked by breathtaking scenery. First stop on your way to Munnar is cheeyapara falls. Here you can see water flowing down the 7 steps. Right outside the falls you can also savour the raw mango and raw pepper pickled in the local shops.

Next stop is the elephant farm where you can witness elephant bathing. A truly heart-warming experience as you see the giant mammal enjoy his daily shower Next stop from here is the Hotel. (Check in time varies).

After settling in the hotel, you will be taken for a tour of the tea/coffee plantation. Where you get to see the process of tea growing and admire the hand of nature in creating the drink. The evening will be left for the family to enjoy the local munnar town. From here you have the option of visiting the tea museum and a tea packaging factory.

Day 2: Munnar (Day 2 in Munnar)

After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit the Mattupetty dam, Echo point and kundala dam. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and kundala dam.

Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamalai, the natural habitat of NilgiriThar. NilgiriThar can be observed very closely here. Last stop here will be the Annamudi peak, the highest peak of southern India. You can watch the beautiful sunset and proceed to your hotel from here.

Day 3: Thekkady to Allepey

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Allepey. Upon reaching Allepey you check in (standard time 1200 hours) at the Ac Deluxe Houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwaters of Alleppey. Just relax at the luxurious houseboat. Let the serenity of the backwaters take over as cruise along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the traditional life of the Kerala villages for the whole day. The house boat is fully furnished with bedrooms, private balcony and a kitchen. It also comprises a chef, Oarsmen cabin assistant. The materials that go into the making are all local and Eco friendly bamboo poles, coconut fiber ropes, bamboo mats, coir carpets etc. Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.
