Sharjah Light Festival Dates: 5th to 15th February 2020
Returning for its 10th consecutive year, the Sharjah Light Festival invites internationally renowned artists to celebrate science, creativity and heritage in a display of lights, colours and music at beloved landmarks.

DAY 1- ARRIVE SHARJAH :
On arrival in Sharjah, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the evening you can explore Sharjah Light festival (at no extra cost) a Journey of Lights beginning from Feb 5th till 15 Feb 2020. Sharjah Light Festival invites internationally renowned artists to celebrate science, creativity and heritage in a display of lights, colours and music at beloved landmarks. You can visit Planet Sharjah where you travel through a universe inspired by elements of Sharjah with Planet Sharjah, through an interactive video mapping installation. A Journey from Sharjah to America - The Students of AUS take us on a roundtrip, a flight from the emirate to America, landing back again in Sharjah. Jungle Book, an age-old story of instincts, nature, survival, fight, fear, love and learning, crossing cultures to become part of global imagination. A Student s Day in Sharjah with present generation ideograms such as emojis and smileys, students from University of Sharjah present their daily routine of life in Sharjah while showing their strong connection to the beautiful emirate. Arabic Fusion is SLF 2020 lights up the Grand Masjid Sheikh Rashid Al Qasimi in a show narrating stories of culture and memory in a contemplation of legacy. Paradoptical is past legacies and future creativity coexist during a show, to disrupt our senses and perpetuate traditions. Forever Young is the show which explores games, fun and playful moods across every age. Light Celebration the visual and luminous installation is an ode to the beauty of the Islamic architecture of the emirate s newest mosque, a graphic ballet of shadows and lights. Light guide at the illuminated building in the middle of a vast open-space represents the hope that Sharjah represents in the Arab world and internationally.

DAY 2 - SHARJAH :
This morning, enjoy the various sights of Sharjah on a City Tour. Visit the Blue Souq famous for incredible bargains. King Faisal Mosque (the largest mosque of the emirate), the Quran roundabout and the Federation of the Emirates are some of the excellent locations for photo stops along with the newest addition of Flag Island. Visit Al Noor Mosque, one of Sharjah s most beautiful mosques and the first to welcome non-Muslim visitors. Visit the Rain room now a permanently and exclusively housed in the Middle East through the efforts of Sharjah Art Foundation. When you will enter the room, they will be directed to navigate intuitively and carefully through the dark underground space in order to protect themselves from the downpour. As you will walk through the room, which uses 1,200 liters of self-cleaning, recycled water, their movements trigger motion sensors that pauses the rainfall when detecting movement.

DAY 3 - DEPART SHARJAH
The day is at leisure for you to explore on your own. You may opt to visit the very famous Mega Mall for Shopping. You will then be transferred to Sharjah airport for your flight back home.
