Responsibilities
Accurately enter patient information, insurance information, and medical billing codes (CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10) from source documents, including patient charts, electronic health records, and superbills.
Make sure that every data entry is completed with the utmost care and correctness.
Verify the patient's insurance benefits and eligibility.
Look for and address any discrepancies or information gaps in patient documents and records.
assist in preparing and electronically submitting claims to insurance providers.
Qualification:
solid background in medical billing or charge entry.
excellent knowledge of insurance payment procedures and medical billing codes (CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10).
familiarity with software for billing and practice administration.
Outstanding data entry abilities and meticulousness.
strong ability to analyse and solve problems.
The ability to operate both independently and collaboratively.
Experience: 1 to 4 yrs
Location : Chennai
Working Hours : 8 Hours, Monday to Saturday
